Maya Launching get a Huge Crowd

Property Market in KK slow or dead? Not so if you see the response of the launching of the Condo at Maya Likas at Riverson Gallery there. I could barely get a seat or see my agents friends because the crowd is so huge! Truth be told a lot of the crowds were bankers, lawyers and contractors, but the interests and bookings seems to be coming in strongly, last time I heard was 70% of the units are booked. This is a fantastic considering the recent market condition.

A little info about the Property, Maya at Likas. The location and proximity to KK town speaks for itself. Its location is next to Taman Fantasi on a nice piece of square land about 4.5acres. The developer is the same people who brought you the Puteri Damai and Alam Damai, so the experience is there and quality wise is going to be good.

Priced around 550psf and above, all units come with 3 bedrooms except the 910sf units but you can add a bedroom there too with you add wall and a door there. Seems reasonable considering nearby condo Alam Damai already selling for 600psf.
Layout is good as is squarish, easier to put furniture and less wasted spcae.
Facility: You get the usual with condos nowadays with the nice addition of a floating “Light house”. Probably the first in KK. And will look very modern and iconic for years to come.
Density is good as is approximate 483 units (writing this on top of my mind here) This project is good for own stay and for families as the surrounding is nice and quiet.

Cons, it is close to the Fook Luk Siew, the Chinese Funeral Service. Take note if you are pantang against this. For me personally i am not a religious person but I know the properties around this area has appreciated A LOT as Taman Fantasi Terrace house selling price around 340k to 800k and above. So it seems the proximity to the KK town and good surrounding neighbourhood weights more than Taboo.

FYI, I am not an agent and I am not affiliated with the developer.
