Gamuda Land enters KK with Bukit Bantayan Residences

The last 5 years I have witness the entrance of the west Malaysian property developers including, Mah Sing Group (Sutera Avenue), SP Setia (Aeropod), SBC Group (The Peak Series), Asian Pac (Imago Mall and the Loft), SC Land (Surian, Suritz and The Gardens), SCP (Inanam Capital, Ashton Towers) etc. They have push the enveloped in the Sabah Property Market, introduce new products, new marketing strategies and new ways of doing business.
Some of the new developers that enter the market this year is construction giant Gamuda Land. They are one of the biggest construction firm in west Malaysia with businesses and property development in many countries, now they have come into KK property market with Bukit Bantayan Residences developments.
Bukit Bantayan Residences is the first project of Gamuda land in Sabah. The location is along Jalan Bantayan Minitod sits on top of the hill overlooking the horizon of KK skyline. Unlike many new developments this is a full blown huge project spanning over 10years and the land area is big enough to do it too at 18 acres.
Bukit Bantayan Residences comes with a total of 5 blocks with the total units about 1500, currently selling block A and soon B, and its going fast from my what my sources tells me. While 1500 units might be huge amount by any margin, but bear in mind its 18 acres of land so density wise is considered good. Block A is facing west, 1 floor have 12 units, unit sizes goes from 900 to 1100sf. The best type of unit to me is Type A dual key, as investor buy 1 unit you can get 2 units income, how cool is that?

Each unit also comes with 1 carpark but the good thing here is you can buy additional car park. Why buy? Well, do you think 1 carpark is enough for you? Definitely not for me as both my parents drive and if my friend comes over then I would need a space for them to park no? My advice buy the additional car park space, you will not regret it. Each lot cost 14k to 25k, not reasonable but not cheap. Best thing here you can add in your car park purchase into the loan and it also extends your repayment period for the 80/ 20 promotion they are running.
Overall i think Bukit Bantayan Residences, with Gamuda (very reputable developer with many awards and their project mainly on the high end side) the price point, easy ownership promotion, views, and location I will definitely buy if I not yet own so many residentials and my target is acquired more commercial properties. Although Kingfisher Inanam is by Hap Seng I locally reputable developer, I would still rate this higher.
